Request an Event

To request a new simulation event, please follow the procedure below.

1. Submit a completed ‘New Event Application’, attached. This Application will need to be filled out by the “Clinical Simulation Event Director” in charge of running/teaching the simulation event for the department. This Application will be reviewed by the simulation center staff.
2. If the event is appropriate and feasible for the Simulation Center facility, the Simulation Center staff will follow up by email to schedule a short 30-minute planning meeting with event organizers/instructors. During this meeting, The Simulation Center staff will review all simulation needs including space, equipment, materials, staffing, setup, and time needed, and review dates to schedule the event.
3. If instructors are not familiar with the specific task trainers or human patient simulators reserved for the event, they will be required to schedule additional time with Simulation Center staff prior to the event to review use and practice on equipment and/or simulations designed for the event.
